This review applies to version 4.4 The latest version of this software will soon be reviewed by our informers.

WebSite-Watcher is a powerful and handy application that automatically monitors your favorite websites for changes and updates. It enables you to monitor web pages, password protected pages, forums for new postings and replies, RSS feeds, newsgroups and local files. The program saves you tremendous valuable time by informing you when it detects website updates and by highlighting all the changes that have been made on it. The interface is very simple and intuitive, which looks very similar to an email client and all its functions are fully customizable. If you still need some help, the program also includes a step-by-step wizard which will guide you throughout the process. You can even import your bookmarks from IE, Opera, Firefox, Netscape and other sources, as well as synchronize and export them. The websites can be checked by file date or content, and powerful filters that let you exclude certain parts or only monitor specific areas of a page. Thanks to the autowatch feature, you can to schedule an automatic scanning of each bookmark, and also search for certain keywords or alert you only when they appear on a specific site.
Advantages
  • Easy to use. Simple and user-friendly user interface. Powerful options.
